Maintenance plan with replacement coverage is available, which includes the cost of repairing the rental instrument during the term of the lease. Repairs include damage due to accidents, ordinary wear and tear, and replacement in the event of loss or theft. Damage caused by abuse or misuse of the instrument is not covered
What’s Included:
All rental outfits include the instrument, a protective case, bow, rosin, and cleaning cloth. Other accessories such as a music stand and shoulder rest are available for purchase but not included. Free sizing upgrades are included at any point.
Your rental payments, excluding tax and insurance, count towards the future purchase of an instrument.

Rental Returns
Returns are to be made by the expiration date. The initial 3 months of rent constitute a minimum period and are non-refundable.
Please check your instrument case for any accessories and personal items before returning the instrument.
As always, the renter will be responsible for the rental instrument and outfit components in case of loss or damage until the instrument outfit is returned.
Damage reported or observed when the instrument is returned will be subject to repair cost or replacement as determined by Scherer Violin Shop.
